So, I’ve come across something I haven’t bothered with before. In my search for new WordPress feeds, I decided to sign up for FeedBurner, which I’ll use here in a bit. Then, I decided to try and tag into some other WordPress Guru’s feeds. Trying to decide which group I was going to stick myself with for golding all my feeds, I came accross Netvibes.
Search engine optimization is a class of online education in itself. If you are looking for excellent online training or diplomas try Kaplan University or the IT centered DeVry University online campuses. Two other options are Walden University and the Internet Campuses of Capella University designed to take you into a new career with a new degree.
Firstly, What it is. It’s a customizeable web page. It’s all fancy with Ajax, and you can move any of the elements you need. You can add unlimited pages, you can add as many widgets as you need, and best of all, you can place all your feeds nice and neatly on one page.

- My POP Email server displayed on the left.
- My Local Weather displayed in the middle.
- A Page Rank verifyer? in the middle.
- My Facebook Friends in the middle.
- My Ebay Bids on the bottom.
- My Forum Topics on the right (Haven’t finished setting that up yet.)
- and Lastly, a Custom To-Do List.
That’s just one page. You have Tabs, I can add as many other pages as I need. By Default, netvibes comes with a Homepage, Internet page, and Fun pages.
The reason I’m posting this here, on a Wordpress website, is because this is something I think that all bloggers should have. Because you can easily add in your own feed listing. I have dedicated a whole tab to ‘Wordpress. Inside my wordpress, I have set it up so that all my feeds I’m currently watching are displaying the 10 most recent posts. I got this set up in ten minutes. Take a look for yourself, I’ve even color coded these ones.
? My second favorite part of Netvibes, is the ability to change the skin. Not only can you create, and customize your own, it comes with a great list of presets. Here’s my quick cutout of a few of them

Now, You’ve seen my how you can style the layouts. But another amazing feature is how easy it is to organize.? You don’t just Place the boxes, It’s all done with ajax. I can move any box any where.

? My last little 
hotspot on why you should be using netvibes, is the extensive amount of Applications, Widgets, and feeds you can add to it. If you’re using netvibes, you should have discovered it already, but you should definitely check out the ECOsystem. It’s a vast list of all sorts of widgets, universes (groups on netvibes!) and tabs.
